Dog and fire works how do I help

Hi I have three dogs and I have a small one that is very very scared of fire works and there are gonna be fire works in about a week where I live I was wonder how to keep him calm with the things I have at home what are some good ideas thanks

I have always had dogs terrified of fireworks, and neighbors who set them off a whole few weeks before the 4th, and then after. Oh, and New Years, etc.
The things that have worked best for me are white noise machines, fans, radio/tv, and basically being home with them so as to comfort them. One dog did respond well to being wrapped like the thundershirt does (ACE wrap works well), and the others just found a small space to hide. I have tried crating in the past, however my german shepherd would become so destructive and distraught not being able to run from kennel, that she would gnash her teeth and actually bend the walls inward. We were always just much better off with medications if needed, and laying on the floor in a quiet, dark room.

I go see my vet and drug mine. Our vet gives us a medication called Acepromazine that works well. They don't even notice the fireworks any longer. Drugging them seems to be the best(most humane) solution for us. However, I do give this at a reduced dose to how my vet Rx reads as 1mg/pound floored my animals last year so I do 1mg/2.5pounds. Besides you can always repeat a dose that way if needed.

Thanks every one yes this year the fire works are coming early and people do them all night and my dog his name is Einstein will not sleep he just stands there and gets to hide under the bed I was going to get a little baby shirt to fit snug on him would that work or she I wrap him and the same goes for my German shepherd she does not like them at all
