Dog attack-could it have left her with brain swelling?

Our flock was attacked by the neighbors dog about 12 days ago, and when my husband initially checked this girl over she seemed stunned but not harmed. She refused to leave our roosters side and just wanted to lay in the coop. She has some tail feathers missing so we assumed the dog tried to get her but couldn't quite catch her and just got some of her tail. She seemed stiff, skittish and lethargic for the first week and would go to bed early(like 2-3 hours before everyone else). She would not let us near her until this past weekend so we couldn't really follow up on checking her over because I didn't want to bug her with her looking so stiff. She has been doing better but still has not started laying again(we believe she laid the first two days after the attack) now I'm seeing what looks like swelling on one side of her head, and on further inspection I found some abbraisions on the back of her neck that my husband missed. They are scabbed up and look good but now I'm concerned after seeing the difference between the two sides of her head.

Almost forgot she is about 22 weeks old and we believe she is one that had started laying. we only had 4 hens survive out of our older 7 that were outside during the attack, one of which has an open wound and is inside our house recovering. So we only have 3 hens old enough to lay and the first 2 - 3 days or so we were getting 3 eggs. But since then have only gotten 1-2 a day.

Should I be concerned or give it time and hope everything settles back down

How does the area feel—soft or mushy? She could have some air from a leaking air sac under the skin if it feels like air. If it feels like liquid, she could have a hematoma (blood that has leaked from a vessel) or seroma (serum and a little blood that has leaked) which can be absorbed by the body.

Maybe airy, it's not squishy and the feathers lay flatter for a couple of seconds when I smooth them over. No holes or open wounds that I can find in that area. Just abrasions lower down on the back of the neck near the base
