Hi everyone,
I need some advice on my only surviving girl after a recent dog attack. i heard the girls shouting and ran out to see what was going on.
Two girls dead with broken necks, feathers in clumps everywhere like they had been played with.
It took ages to find Blossom the surviving crook tucked into a bramble patch. She was overwhelmed and in shock. Our vet refused to see her and told us to put her in a box, ”she’ll probably be dead in an hour or so”
We have treated her few cuts with antibiotic powder and they have dried and healed quite well. However although we are hand feeding her and she is drinking from a bowl, she either cannot or will not walk. Her wings are limp, although she can move both her legs and wings, but won’t weight bear. I’m worried she Is also lonely being the only one left. She doesn’t appear to be in any pain, and is very alert. The attack happened 11 days ago.
All advice greatly appreciated. Thank you.
