Dog door for chicken coop

My DH was wondering if a chicken will use a dog door. Anyone have any experience with this?

right now my girls are being temporaily housed in a run with a dog house (ran into snag in coop building, but working on it!) anyway, the dog house has a flap on the front to keep out wind/ rain. They used it after I adjusted them to it. first I had it tied up, then I lowered it a little at a time until it was down all the way. now they go in and out with no problem. I still can't wait til my coop is finished though...would like them in something a little more "protected".

Thanks for the response. DH was just thinking of putting one on the coop for that same reason: wind, rain, weather...I wasn't sure if they'd be stubborn and refuse altogether.
