Dog just showed up on farm

A dog just showed up tonight on our farm. It is hunting season so hopefully the dog is a bird dog and will be claimed soon. Until then I guess the chickens will stay locked up on the barn.

Good idea. Does the dog have a collar? If so, grab him and tie him out on the end of your driveway, so his owners can grab him.

I never just shoot dogs that show up unless they make a nuisance of themselves. I normally grab them if I can and tie them to my mailbox. The owners have always come and got them before it became an issue. The dogs rarely show back up after that.

He gets along with my dog so I am letting him be. I posted on all the Facebook groups so hopefully someone will know who he belongs to.
