Are small dogs( like chihuahuas and dachshunds) dangerous to chickens?

What Breed (of dogs is the most dangerous?

Most dachshunds have extremely high prey drive. Any and all untrained dogs have the potential to be dangerous to poultry.

My pomeranian is well trained and I trust him enough to keep him out with the chickens if I am with him. But the other day I let the neighbors chihuahua in the back yard and she immediatly started trying to get to the chicks, and acting very aggressive. After seeing that I wouldnt trust any dog I didnt know very well around the chickens, no matter how small.

Any dog will attack and kill chickens. My daughter lost 5 birds to a small chihuahua.
