Dominique 6 weeks gender?

I'm going to say pullet. It looks like the majority of the feathering is black.

Thank you for the reassurances and the picture for comparison. I have a hard time telling when there's just one of a breed in a group

I hear you, BusyBear. There are 6 different breeds in my little flock of 7. But our Dominique girls would have a lot more white in their barring by this age if they were future roos. Or so I'm told! (First time chicken keeper.)

I believe that's true but just looking at them I really can't tell without one of each lol. I think I just have one cockerel right now but I'm keeping an eye on a couple of my older buff Orpingtons too, a couple just always looked boyish to me... But they're american buffs and I have too much trouble with them and I didn't hatch them so I didn't sex them either. We have.., 8 breeds including mutts and unknowns as one breed lol.

Here's a pic I found on BYC of Dominiques - cockerel in the front, pullets in the back. The males are about 50/50 black and white while females are about 75/25 black and white.
