I am new at this and I purchased 6 porcelains D'Uccle and 4 Dominique/ brown leghorns. They were born 5/5 and I have a feeling my Dominique's-are all roosters. They are of course double the size of my little porcelains. I'm not sure if they even get along. The Dominique's are a little on the crazy side. Beautiful but crazy. Can anyone tell me if this is a good choice to have them together? I also read the ones with a white patch on the head are roosters and all 4 of mine have white spots

You might want to keep them separated, at least for now if the little guys are getting bullied or trampled on, you can brood standards and bantams together but d'Uccles tend to be sweet fairly calm birds and Doms and Leghorns especially are more active so it might be safer for the d'Uccles to keep them separate if the big guys are being rough ... if you have enough room in the coop you can probably keep them together later on as long as you don't keep a DomX roo.
Do you know which way the cross went on the mixes ... if the mothers were the Dominiques and the father was the Brown Leghorn they are black sexlinks and the males should have white spots and the females none.

Great advise thanks, I have separated them out into two brooders. I was thinking i should put them together every few days to keep them acquainted. Is that a good idea? Would you suggest not keeping the Dominique's . I want only the hens so I can get I touch with the women I got them from to find out which one the rooster was.
