I bought a sexed Dominique pullet as a day old chick, and Marzo is now 2.5 weeks old (hatched 6/10). Her headspot was smaller than that of my Dominique hen Juin, and she has the dark wash down the legs that you would expect of a pullet. I’m just uncertain about the amount of white I’m seeing on her, particularly on her shoulders. Juin was a bit darker at this age, and pictures I see online show no striping at all for pullets at 2 weeks old. So far the comb is pale and small.
Is this double or single barring? Can I be confident that she is female?
