Dominique Roo Not Crowing Yet.

I have a little Lakenvelder rooster that started crowing at 2 months old. He is 5 months old now. I also have a 5 month old Dominique rooster who gets bullied by the mean little Lakenvelder. No really big fights because the Dom runs from him. He has not started crowing yet. My question is, could this be because he is intimated by the Lakenvelder or are Doms just slower to start crowing? Both are active with the ladies but the Lakenvelder started that way before the Dominique did. It doesn't bother me that he isn't crowing yet, I just thought he would have tried to get a little sound out before now. He is passive and the other is aggressive, so I call them "Rage" and "Gage"

Right now he is subordinated by the Lakenvelder, but eventually he will find his mojo. When he does, regardless of how long it takes, the Lakenvelder will be in for a major surprise.

I am waiting for that lol, That mean little cuss deserves it He terrorizes the pullets also. If he wasn't so darn cute, I would re-home him, he was my free bird from Murray McMurray. Thanks for your quick response!

Thanks, for replying. I believe you replied to my question a few weeks ago when I was trying to determine if this Dom was a rooster. I had ordered 7 females but got one that was a male. Yes, I believe little Rage will have to deal with Gage later lol!

Honestly that's not bad to just get one roo, you can make more dominickers now and that's always good.
