Dominique vs Buff Chantecler

Going to be getting some more chicks and have narrowed it down to either Dominiques or Buff Chanteclers. Have had both White and Buff Chanteclers before but have no experience with Dominiques. Any info. anyone has comparing these two breeds would be helpful. Thanks

I vote Dominique..

They are a great OLD heritage breed. I have quite a few and I love them. In addition to showing them you will be helping to keep an historic old breed alive.

What did you decide? I've had a Dominique for 3 years - love her; she was smartest chick and she's now top hen. Just last month got a Buff Chantecler pullet (well, I think she is at 7 weeks, at least). What has been your experience with the Chantecler breed? Thanks!
