Dominiques?

Just inherited a Dominique. What are these? Do they lay brown eggs. So far she is really sweet. Was raised by hand. She is about two months old so she is being kept away from our flock. She has a sister that is a silver laced Wyandotte. They are both sweeties. Just wanted to know if anyone else has these.

Yes I had some from a really nice line......they are great chickens nice medium brown egg and good moms as well. I had one roo that was a baby and we could do anything with.........another one that was buck wild! Also check the combs...........

Good thought there Junebug. I assumed they were girls but they did come from our local feed store and could turn into roos. So far they look like girls. How old would they be before they turned into full on looking roos?
