I have absolutely know way of knowing if my white crested black polish is Don or Donna. I thought for several weeks that it was Don but just a while ago while I was petting him/her it did the little egg squat that my hens have been doing this last week. So how can you tell on these boogers what they are? It has no tail feathers because my other hens pecked the head feathers and tail feathers practically all the way off. I did move it off by itself so it can recover from the beat up the others gave it. I can get a better picture if needed.

I'd say Don.On Polish the boys have streamer like head feathers and the girls have a more round poof. Plus where the wattles will grow at turns red early on.That's what I look for with ours. My WCB Polish cockrel is always one of the first to greet me when I go out there.
