Can you take a plastic egg and fill with silicone and use it in place of the water wiggler? I seen on here one time where someone was going to try it, but didn't know how well it worked out.

I have heard a couple folks do that .. I think one was speckldhen.. They seemed to have worked well...

My guess is every water wiggler made in the world comes from china, cheap junk, so I would be done with them too. I take a heavy duty freezer bag, fill it halfway and sqeeze the air out tape the sensor to the bag and fold over and tape the bag. This method is easy cheap and accurate, give it a try.

Look for some silicone caulking or aquarium caulking. The aquarium caulking would be non-toxic but it more expensive than regular silicone caulking. I think once regular caulking cures it will be safe for what you'll be using it for and it is cheaper.

Regular silicone caulking can be found at hardware stores/departments. Most of the time it comes in a long tube requiring a caulking gun but you can buy in smaller squeeze tubes that don't require a gun. The squeeze tubes are normally stated as being "kitchen and bath" caulking.

Best wishes,
Ed
