I love this coloring of my chicken and want to know more about him or her. He or she is growing more and more everyday I go out with the chickens.

I think about 5 weeks, might be 6 weeks old. Not really sure. When I got this one it was fulled feathered and it was the size of the 2nd set of pics a week after.

The breed is called Dominique. The color is barred--those black and white bars of color on each feather.

As to gender---the color says pullet, but that's a lot of comb for 6 weeks, so I'm undecided. Maybe post pics again in 4 weeks?

ok, they change all the time, so I take pics every 2 weeks. I hope it's a pullet but if it's not, than I am keeping him for my rooster. I just love the colors and the chicken is really gentle.
