I live in gwinnett county and i say screw them. as long as you can take care of your flock then have at. I have 6 layers and a coop in my back yard. I give extra eggs to the people that live around me and... no concerns. dont keep any roosters though, they tend to make a lot of noise and that will throw up red flags. i plan to move in a year or so to more property but until then I going to stay prepared for whatever might come. i also have hydropnics with fresh veggies and tilapia. so if something was to happen, God forbid... my family and I will still be fed. you have to do what you feel is right for you and your family. the worst thing they can say to you is to get rid of them... maybe site you, just tell them you did not know you could not have them and that you will get rid of them asap. happy egg hunting and keep us posted on your decision.
