I just had a game mixed hen hatch last week, and already I have another broody!!
Gretta the game is broody again! Her 'baby' is about 3 months old already, so it's about time! Gertie, the hen that hatched last week, only waited about a month to re-brood, but she is half silkie too
So Gretta has 2 of her own eggs, one from today and one from yesterday, 6 white silkie eggs from our girls, one Nugget (oegb) egg, and one bantam mottled cochin egg! So she will have quite the little family!
Her eggs could be mixed with red jungle fowl or a bantam spangled something! Interesting bunch she should have!
