Doodles... you either love em' or hate em'

Hey Everybody.
I have seen lots of opinions on this thread about doodles and wondered what people think about them. I personally have 2 but I don't think I would get another. I love my doodles but Just would not get another.

I like poodles but not crossed with other breeds.
I also associate 'designer' breeds like that with unscrupulous breeders that sell inbred puppies for a living.

I just feel that doodles are over priced for basically just a mutt. My good friends got a golden doodle and that poor thing suffered from neurological issues and ended up having to be put down due to her seizures that she had like once a month. The poor thing was probably inbred a lot as well. I am also just not a huge fan of designer breeds.

Yes, I agree with the unreasonable breeders. I do believe there are good breeders out there but they can be hard to find and are a gem once you find them!

They are overpriced for sure. I am not a huge fan of designer breeds anymore either even though I have two of them.

Don’t get me wrong I love my dogs and anything I say is nothing against my dogs. I don’t hate doodles. I don’t mind them either. If I had to I would get another one just not at the top of my list.

My brother had a Golden Doodle. It didn't have health issues, but it wanted constant attention and acres of space to run in. He ended up re-homing it to a farm, where it has been happy. I personally wouldn't want one.
