door and perch help needed

hi my coop is quite low and I'm wondering how high the perch has to be? Also do I need to worry about the wind coming in on a windy day and messing around the shavings (I'm going to be using the deep litter method) or should I make a hole underneath the coop because there is a a space 18" off the ground, they can jump that high right?

Do you have any pictures you could post? How big is your coop, and what are the dimensions?
