Dorking English Orpinton Cross

Hey guys,

I am going to have some Dorking hens to be brooders for my English Orps. They will have their own brooder pen. I thought, as an experiment, I might throw an English Orp roo in with them and have the off spring for table birds. Anyone ever do this? How did it turn out?

Did you ever hatch any chicks from the dorkings?? I have a handful of red dorkings and one Isabel Orpington. I plan on getting more orpingtons in the next couple years.
