Their coop and run have sand floors. The Dorkings have cut their feet or injured their nails when I have them out in my yard in the evenings for free time. They just seem to have such soft feet, but maybe they will toughen up over time like Wyorp Rock saysIf you have a run for them, what is the surface there? I'm wondering if the bottoms of their feet are making contact with something that irritates them- fungus or ???? Maybe they would do better in an enclosed run with a sand base which would be kinder on their feet.
