My black Austrolorp (Dorothy) used to lay every other day but she hasn't lay any eggs in almost 10 months! She is a year old.

Very unusual but not unheard of. Do you have other chickens and are they laying?

Yes all of them. Except her.

Bummer, sounds like Dorothy is a Dud.
Has she ever laid?
how old is she?
Can happen, something genetic maybe, reproductive tract not formed right or hormonal chemicals out of whack.
I assume that after waiting 10 months to inquire, that she still appears healthy, eating/drinking/pooping/active?
