Can anyone tell me how to mix this for my 7mo old rooster he’s about 3-4 lbs. my vet sold this to me (not an avian vet) but now it’s after hours so I can’t get ahold of him & I want to start this tonight.

Do you have a means to weigh out the powder accurately in grams?
What does the front of the package read?
A typical concentration of the powder is 50 g active antibiotic to 75 g powder.
So that would mean you would add 6 g of the powder to 2 gallons of water to get the correct concentration in the drinking water. If you can accurately weigh out 3 grams, then add that to just 1 gallon of water.
Assuming he weighs 3.5 pounds (the mid-range of your estimate), he would have to drink about 3/4 to 1 cup of this solution daily. I would make a mash out of his feed using the medicated water and also leave out 1 cup of the medicated water for him to drink daily. Keep the medicated solution in the refrigerator.
Make fresh mash and put out fresh medicated water daily until his treatment period is complete.
You would obviously be mixing up a lot more solution than you need but you need to be able to accurately weigh out a small portion of the powder so you are going to have waste.

Hi there, thank you for your response. He made it through the night, barely I think he missed me. I do not have a scale to weigh grams but I am also treating my entire mixed flock of 15 all the same age but different sizes. I have one coughing & rattling & some sneezing & one with Bumblefoot. I fill 1 gallon water jugs & bring them out to the coop to fill the waterers so how much should I put in each gallon. I will mix my sick Silkie Andres separately & keep in the fridge since I have him inside. I will try to get a kitchen scale somewhere in town today. I am cleaning out the coop & washing with bleach water. The run I am not sure how to clean the ground in there… it is bare dirt so I’m thinking so should spray it down with some disinfectant like tektrol (I have a gallon of that here) then let it dry out. We have snow here in Minnesota so IDK if they’ll want to be outside today.

Also do you think it would be ok to deworm them along with this antibiotic treatment? They have never been dewormed & thought that would help eradicate possible worms at the same time. My chicken free ranged all seasons but this is our first winter. They are all 7 months. I have lost 2 to some mystery illness sort of similar to Andre’s case & one to a falcon attack. We live in a wooded 10 acres on a lake.

The package says one packet to 25 gallons. If you can divide out the packet into roughly equal portions then you would dissolve that in 12 1/2 gallons. You can't put the powder in to just one gallon unless you accurately measure out 2 grams. So you're going to have to make a very large batch of it and mix it up thoroughly, refrigerate it and then take out however much solution each day for everyone to drink.
I would wait a few days after you're finished treating for MG before deworming the flock.
