I know, I'm terrible at taking photos and was in a hurry, I appreciate you giving it a shot. It's definitely looking like a cockerel-heavy batch to me, too. I didn't label any of my guesses, but one you suspect of being a roo is already trying to crowThe pics aren't the greatest but if I had to say right now I would say 3-4-5-7 look like Roos. I would watch a couple of the others too!
Last batch, I promise! The Marans were all hatched April 25th or 26th.
First, Blue:
Pullet for now.
Second, Brown:
Pullet.
Third, Green:
Cockerel.
Fourth, White:
Looking like a cockerel.
Fifth, Yellow:
Thinking cockerel.
Sixth, Pink:
Pullet for now.
Seventh, Purple:
Comb makes me say cockerel.
Eigth, Red:
Pullet, probably.
Sorry, I'm terrible at taking photos.

First, Blue: Cockerel, but he hid it for a bit longer than the others.

Third, Green: Cockerel. On the plus side, this early bloomer is turning out super handsome. He's going to stay to make some Olive Eggers.

Sixth, Pink: Cockerel- I think. The only one I can't call for sure yet. Almost positive (like, 95% sure) he's just a late blooming cockerel, but not quite ready to give up the glimmer of hope on having one more pullet. Still very little copper and a pretty small comb without much color, but is getting in bigger are brighter wattles than the pullets.
