20 wk old speckled Sussex just laid a double yolk egg with only half of the shell. It's (shell) somewhat hard, but translucent. Fermented feed, access to calcium, free range.
She is sleeping standing up on my deck right now. The flock left her and one of my B. Australorps came back to sit with her.
I know young laying hens can have egg anomalies, but is this common? Should I be worried about the other half? She is definitely not herself and seems uncomfortable.
Have pics but can't get them uploaded

Thank you for replying!
So it isn't anything I should be too worried about? Just keep an eye on her? Going to try to load pics again
