Hopefully someone can tell me. So, since our girls have started laying we’ve gotten a total of 32 eggs. 😁 Out of those we’ve used 11 so far. From those, we’ve had 2 with double yolks. Is that a common thing? With store bought eggs I can count on 1 hand the number of times we’ve gotten double yolks. My kids get excited when they crack the eggs & see a double yolk. I’m not concerned just curious about how common they are.

Not uncommon. Generally there are no double yolkers in 'store bought' eggs as eggs are candled prior to sale and any with anomalies are consigned to bakery use.
