Double yolked delicacies

Interesting little story to read. Curious still about how they breed them like that? Do they just wait for single yolks to be laid and hatch those?

Strange! They must've been selectively bred in that area to produce double yolked eggs. That's certainly not a normal thing most of the time.

The article mentions that they're bred specifically for laying them. Just curious how since usually the hatchlings don't make it to hatch day
