Doves too quiet?

Can anyone tell me why my doves (ive had them about 2 weeks now) have stopped cooing? they are a pair of ringnecks, and when I first got them, they cooed all the time. Now, sometimes I hear a different sound, almost like ha ha ha....but I think maybe theyre not happy anymore or something. they are currently in a large indoor cage, and another thing, one is now picking on the other. One of them is also starting to peck at the back of the other's head. I saw the bowing performance and mating attempts, so I assumed they were abreeding pair, but maybe not?

either you got 2 the same sex or it's time for them to nest.. the cock will drive the hen until she says in the nest box/ bowl...

thanks, any ideas on what happens when there is no nest?

some nest on the corner of the cage, but for the sake of the hen's head, give them a bowl...

Ive done that now, and thanks again for the advice, hopefully when they are put into their new flight run they will be happier!
