It’s far from perfect… I’m a CPA and told my husband to “watch me” after he said I couldn’t build it on my own (he really doesn’t like birds or my chickens). So… turns out he was right and I screwed a lot up that he had to help me correct 
. I still haven’t trimmed the sides or finished painting… but I present Downhen Abbey!
I’m doing deep litter method in the run. This past weekend my husband cut and trimmed back a lot of bushes, trees, and pulled weeds, so I made some areas for them to hide behind like they enjoyed in my backyard (also gives them some more stuff to snack on before it dies). Yes, there’s a chair out there because I like to go visit them (hi, I’m Kristen and I’m crazy). It’s 158 sq ft run and 30 sq ft coop. I hope my 4 ladies are happy.
sorry the coop hasn’t been cleaned yet, my daughter will do it after school (and those are ceramic eggs in the nesting box).
