Our lovely, loyal 3yo call duck drake Wonky, is in need of a new flock. He's a chocolate magpie patterned call. He has been the best, but I'm starting to breed my calls again this year, and he's too closely related to too many of them. He is the gentlest thing and can't pin or grab females due to a hatching injury on his bill. We didn't think he'd survive, he's missing half of his top bill due to getting stepped on by his mother while halfway out of his egg. But he proved us wrong, and eats and forages as good as any other duck. He skews it to the side when closing it to "shut" his mouth, hence the name Wonky. He's been amazing for protecting the hens and can't physically be aggressive with them or overmate, so I'm loathe to cull.
Anyone want the sweetest fancy dancy gentlest Drake ever? Or anyone willing to swap drakes?
