So I have a female that is getting picked on by my drakes. I have other females but they never bother them, only the one female. Today I noticed that she was missing a good bit of feathers on her wings and back. Should I spray poultry spray on them? I just want to make sure her skin and feathers are okay. The drakes don’t pick on her constantly. They all seem to get along good. I think it’s just when they mate. No one is singling her out. I’ll be adding more females to my flock in the spring. So I’m hoping that’ll help. But does anyone else have these problems with their drakes. If so how do you handle these situations?

I have 1 female that my males gang up on. I think it is because she is smaller then my other females. Usually what I do is separate her overnights when she has alot of feather loss on the neck. I also give a high protien diet to help feathers grow back. Cat food, mealworms, flax seed.
