Good day everyone, I am really hoping that I chose 2 hens when picking out my new additions. I was having a really hard time as they all looked the same to me lol. Can someone please let me know if in fact I have chosen two hens?

I was told they are approx 1.5 years old
Sure wish they had the curl on the tail like other ducks. I know these are not considered ducks but would still be nice lol.
Thank you all so much for your help and input

Full body pics would help... females usually have long tails, males usually have bigger feet... and *I think* their voices do have differences, but I can't remember which does what, lol...

@casportpony or @Miss Lydia have Muscovies and know a lot more than me...

They're both gorgeous though!! :love

Oh, also, for their age and by their face masks, my guess would be females... :fl

I just brought them home tonight and they were soooo hungry, just pigged out with food and water. Now as I went out to take some more photo's of them they had some water come out of their mouths a couple times. Almost like they were throwing up. Are they going to be ok?

I think I've read that ducks can do this but have never personally seen it happen. Maybe starting a seperate thread to ask about it would get quicker answers?

They just ate and drank too fast, should be fine...

They are gorgeous!! :love

Casportpony says they're hens, and I agree... heads don't look male and they have 'pouchy' bottoms, usually indicative of active layers... congrats!!!

Thank you sooooooo very much, I am so happy with them and now just have to give them names. I can't wait to have some eggs. They will soon be introduced to Bonnie and Clyde. I will post an album of my ducks for anyone to check them out.
Thank you all so much again for your help and input.
