Drilling noise?

It’s hatch day!! Yay! Fingers crossed everything goes well for my cherry valley ducks. Just wondering... what on earth is the drilling noise coming from inside one of the eggs? Is it them tapping their beaks on the shell? It sounds like the motion would be too fast for that?

I have not heard drilling sounds when hatching ducks. Did you see anything odd in the shell after it hatche?
