drooping boards?

i'm in the process of building some dropping boards to catch thier poop under the roosts to help keep my coop cleaner. i was looking for some other ideas. i plan to use some 1x3 in a rectangle frame w/ a plywood bottom. that way i can just take the boards out side and dump them in the compost pile.

I just painted two boards leftover from our extention project (about 28" x 8") and put a cabinet hadle on one end for easier holding. They are placed under my roosts, course poop goes everywhere else too, but these to help some. Good luck!
