I have 4 chicks about 3 weeks old. The other day one started standing fluffed with its eyes closed a lot. Still eating, drinking, and pooping ok. Every now and then it would hop around acting completely normal. Then back to standing or laying with it's eyes closed. Now another one is doing the same thing. The first one seems a little less droopy each day but not normal acting. Any ideas what's going on?

Make sure they are drinking enough fluids. Puffing up and lethargy are usually signs of coccidosis in young chickens, so I would consider possibly treating with Corid in the water if you see runny poops with or without blood, and if appetites decrease.

That's what I was thinking it could be. I'll start corid right away. Thank you
