droopy rear end

Hi can anyone help me my friends hen has a droopy rear end, she has never had this problem before and always held her tail upright etc. Other than her droopy tail she seems healthy and active. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

She is possibly eggbound. Soaking her in warm water for about 20 minutes while gently massaging her underside might encourage her to lay the egg if that's what it is.
