Drop pens for chick runs

I'm looking for quick ideas for an outdoor run for my chicks. Right now I use the top of my son's old rat cage, but they are going to outgrow this. Has anyone used the pyramid shaped drop pens as small runs? They are about 2ft X 2ft. Our feed store has some. I looked on line for them, but they are only sold by fighting rooster outfits, which I don't want to support.

Randall Burkey may have some, but I think they call them pyramid pens or something like that. Look on RB.

Personally i use my homemade ones for just taking pictures, or whenever i want the birds to get some grass and i can't move their pens.. Works.
