Hi,
I have searched the website and could not find anything that sounded similar to this. Today I collected eggs and sat them in a warm sunny spot for about 5 minutes or so while I checked on something in my yard. Between the time I sat them down and went to take them in I noticed what looked like water droplets on the end of one of the eggs. It wiped right off ( had the consistency of water) and no other droplets formed. They had been in the nesting box for probably a couple of hours before I took them out. It's in the high 80's now.
It's almost looked like when an egg that has been in the fridge is taken out and "sweats" while it sits on the counter, only just about 10 or so droplets on one end. Is is possible that's what the egg did? Sweat from being in a cooler spot (maybe 10 degrees cooler) in the nest box to sitting in a hot area for 5 or so minutes?
Just want to be sure that the egg is safe to eat. I did bring it in and give it a quick rinse since it had a little dried poop on it, no other droplets or anything else formed on the egg so I don't think it's oozing from the inside.
Thanks in advance!

Yeah, it was probably just sweating. Our eggs were doing that today because it was so warm that when you opened the fridge they would warm up fast.

The eggs should be safe to eat.
