Dry comb question!

Winter is coming and this will be my first winter with cooks so the question is...would moisturizing combs/wattles be beneficial since it tends to be drier and cold? If so, what are some good products or home made recipes I can cook up? Thanks!

I have never moisturized combs. With extreme dry comb one could use coconut oil, but it is not necessary.

Thanks! I just didn't know if it'd be like how human skin gets dry in the winter months since it's an exposed fleshy bit
