dry hatch lockdown, dry or wet?

hello, i have dry hatched until day 18 and now wondering what people do at this stage add humidity or leave dry? thanks

Don't leave it dry. Add water.

I would add water. I dry hatch, but up the humidity to 60-70% during lockdown. Low humidity can cause the membrane to harden, keeping the chick from hatching.

Provided you will be able to do the following, you don't have to raise the humidity until you see an external pip if you would like, but some people raise it anyway.

That’s true. I sometimes have difficulty raising the humidity, so I start adding water early.
