first Time try the Dry Hatch Method. Humidity in Incubator is 18% is this to low?

If you are judging only by the digital thermometer, it may be low because I find them to be off. I dry hatch and I live in the higher elevation, dry side of the mountains. I have 50%.

I live in south louisiana where the humidity outside is brutal. My reading stays at around 25-29%. Do y’all think this is an ok humidity reading for a dry hatch of silkie eggs.

Have you calibrated another hydrometer? It's best to have another not relying on the incubators.
