Dual Purpose Birds

Hello, I was wondering if it is recommended to feed your dual purpose chicks meat bird feed to lean them towards the meat side rather than if your going to use them for layers.

Sure, if you will butcher all of them.
But if you are keeping some pullets for eggs, I would feed them a Starter-Grower.
A Meatbird feed could cause egg laying problems with the rapid growth and development. GC
