This little one is 2.5 weeks old. Feisty as all get out! I think it may be a roo. Since I'm new at this, do d'uccle hens also have red combs?

Yes the hens can get combs early on- they can fool you into thinking they are cockerels. So hang onto them until you hear a crow if you can't keep roosters!

We aren't supposed to have any roosters. BUT..... I have one and my neighbor has one. Another neighbor across the street must have ten of them.
Nobody has complained yet.... So until they do, I will keep them.
