thank you for the reply i have always wanted oneYes, I have two and I'm in the process of hatching more. We get to about 115F with the heat index.
lucky me i have a feed store that sells them that's only a few city's awayMe too, but they're pretty hard to find as far as breeder/show quality. I'm look for blue cream light brown myself. I have two hatchery hens that I got before Ideal Poultry stopped carrying them.
Forever. Last year was their last year to have them. If I'd known that I would have bought more. They aren't "proper" Dutch but I do still like them. I had four of them in my clean leg bantam assortment and later found out that was their final week to hatch them so my timing was lucky.do you mean Ideal stopped carrying them for the season or for ever?

the hatchery that they order from is Privett hatchery and the feed store has chick all year even in the winter i went their in the winterVery cool. I wonder where they get them since most of t hatcheries that carry them are done selling them for the year.
The hatchery ones are basically Old English Game bantams with white earlobes, really.
