I need help!! My male duck has been attacking my female duck. I separated them but I'm afraid it's too late. My female can hardly walk and cannot stay balanced. Also, she is moving her head is very different directions and it seems as if she can't help it. Her eye is also getting a white film, making it look like she can't see out of it. I tried putting some gel eye drops to help it but it seems to have made worse. This is my first time owning ducks and I really need help to figure out what's going on and if I could do any home remedies before I have to take her to the vet! Thank you!!

That can happen when times are getting closer to spring. mating season is intense, and I always make sure i separate my males and females until the season is done. With the eye foam it is best to keep a clean pen and wipe their eyes with warm water, I heard saline eye drops work too. But i haven't tried that my one duck always gets foam in certain seasons and just letting him clean his face with clean water always works. I am curious on what kind of head movements on of my ducks has a nervous twitch i would call it where she was just spaz her head a little bit. After i calmed her down she would instantly stop. I dont know if it is the same for you but after the incident maybe she was just scared which developed a twitch
