Duck ate dog food

My 1 year old call duck got in to the dog food while my dog was eating it , apparently she doesn't mind sharing. But the duck (popcorn) goes crazy and just keeps shoveling it in and I got to her a bit late and I could see her neck was full of it she flung some of when shaking her head had trouble swallowing but after I got her to drink water after a few minutes she acted fine. Do I need to worry about some freakish thing happening where she is still in danger of choking or not breaking it down good enough? It's dehydrated dog food so it's easier for my dog to digest. I was just worried about her having issues still even all seems fine

It might been too big and dry but shouldn't hurt her.

Dog food won't hurt your duck. There was a video somewhere I watched a bantam duck swallowing a mouse whole. They can eat things pretty large. If it was causing issues, you would notice it trying to get it out of it's throat.

Thank you. She is a bantam duck and I saw she was struggling at first to get some out but I just needed piece of mind

My birds love dry dog food. Since I have mini dachshunds I buy small kibble so it's easy for all of them to eat. I do believe my Muscovy would live on dog food. but they all only get it as a treat.
