duck attacked other missing

i have two ducks. when it got dark i went out and found one in the coop covered in blood. the other missing. i searched hours for him and nothing. the other she’s scratched up and in shock but she’s okay right now. stray cat in the neighborhood for months but nothing til now. my duck very fast, aggressive, and can fly. of the two of them he had better chances. is there hope for his return? and also please send prayers for Frank and Lenny.

It could have been a different animal than a cat. Cats usually do not carry off a large bird like a duck.
