duck breeding?

Can my runner drake mate with my other ducks? And the other way? I have 6 runners and 1 is a drake. I also have 2 Rouen drakes and a welsh harlequin drake. There are 9 other ducks of different breeds all female. Will they be able to breed or will they hurt the different breeds? They all seem to be around the same size. Thanks or your help!

If they're all around the same size they should be fine. I've had problems with Cayugas and Silver Appleyards injuring Mallard hens because of the size difference, but the Cayugas and Silver Appleyards are fine mating with each other. As long as there aren't TOO MANY drakes that is. You have 14 hens and 4 drakes? Depending on how aggressive the drakes are you could be okay, but if it were me I wouldn't get any more drakes.

we didn't plan of having that many drakes 2 were from straight run. We may get more females next spring. I just wanted to make sure they wouldn't hurt each other.

I COMPLETELY understand about accidentally having too many drakes! We've been there multiple times.
