duck cant move his feet anymore

Hi friends
I have a baby duck that cant walk anymore since 2 days ago I think he is scared from a cat voice when we were not at home...he cant stand on his feet and no sign of injury and when I leave him on water it seems he cant move both of his feet but he can feel the pain when I press my finger on his skin ....what should I do...is there any cure for him im so sad

I had a Sussex hen do kind of the same thing. She had no injury but couldn't walk. She was like that for a week, then all of a sudden was fine. I don't know if this is the same kind of thing, but I hope your duck gets better!

Yeah, that's about what my girl looked like (except, you know, she's a chicken

). Can he kind of crawl, like just barely scooch forward?

yes... exactly ...he just crawl moving his head forward

Yeah, that's what my hen did. I still have no idea what happened to her, maybe she sprained it? But he still eats and drinks and poops fine?

It's a possibility your duckling may need some niacin added to his drinking water or brewers yeast added to his feed. Hes about at the age where they begin to show they aren't getting enough Niacin from their chic k feed, what are you feeding him? and when in the water will he use his legs at all? It could be an injury but read this and see if it could be from not getting enough niacin.
