Duck chest cavity!?

Hi, so Iv just brought home a new duck to add to the family.

I didn’t get a good look at her it was more like cage to cage and got her home.

Now I notice there seems to be an issue with her chest, slightly more inward on one side.

Any ideas what this may be?

It's hard to tell from the picture. Is it an actual indentation in her chest or is she missing feathers there?

Well I initially thought maybe it’s a broody chest, but it looks like an actual indentation as if no breast. I thought it may be the breast line but it goes too far across. So in the image that entire circle area is inward and can see movements

I haven't seen that before but I wonder if she wasn't getting adequate feed. How does her keel bone feel? Here's a chart that will give you an idea of whether she's underweight or not.

Great thanks I’ll get on inspections when I’m back. If feeding was an issue would it be a pecking order thing or a person thing do you think
